Welcome to Voce, a voice-driven social platform built to foster authentic human connection through audio conversations. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Voce mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Voce, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your country) to use Voce.
  • By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You are legally permitted to use the Services.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree not to share your account or impersonate another person.
  • Voce reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

3. User Content

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of all voice recordings, audio posts, comments, and other content you create or share on Voce.
  • License: By posting User Content, you grant Voce a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, process, reproduce, distribute, and display your content solely for operating, improving, moderating, and promoting the Services.
  • Retention: This license ends when your content is deleted, except where retention is required for legal, safety, or operational reasons.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and must not post unlawful, abusive, misleading, exploitative, or infringing content.

4. Voice Content & User-Generated Content

  • Voce hosts user-generated audio content and does not pre-screen all content.
  • We reserve the right to remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or community standards.
  • Content may be moderated using automated tools and/or human review.
  • Voce is not responsible for User Content posted by other users.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Use Voce for illegal, deceptive, or harmful purposes.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Record, download, or distribute other users’ content without permission.
  • Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services.
  • Circumvent moderation, safety, or security measures.

6. Community Standards

  • Engage respectfully in voice conversations.
  • Avoid hate speech, discrimination, or harassment.
  • Respect cultural and personal differences.
  • Report abusive or suspicious activity when encountered.

Failure to comply may result in content removal or account action.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All Voce software, features, branding, logos, designs, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to Voce.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

  • By Voce: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, or misuse the Services.
  • By You: You may delete your account at any time through the app settings, subject to legal retention requirements.

9. Disclaimers

  • The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  • Voce makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • Voce does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of User Content.
  • Use of the Services is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Voce will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Voce is not liable for loss of data, content, or reputation.
  • Voce’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or other reasonable means. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable country or region, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts unless otherwise required by law.
